WINTER WEATHER GUIDE
We follow the same schedule in regards to closings (NOT DELAYS) as the State College Area School District:
NO SCHOOL DUE TO WEATHER = No Youth Martial Arts
NO AFTERSCHOOL ACTIVITIES = “No Youth Martial Arts”
EARLY DISMISSALS DO TO WEATHER = No Youth Martial Arts
NO SCHOOL DUE TO EXTREMELY LOW TEMPERATURES = No Youth Martial Arts
POWER OUTAGES = No Youth Martial Arts
HAZARDOUS WEATHER ON WEEKEND = “Play it by ear”
NO HEAT = No Youth Martial Arts if heat is not restored
(We attempted to have Youth classes in the event of roads getting better or regardless of school being canceled and only had 2 students show for a class that normally has 36. It is with this attempt that we will follow the same schedule as the SCASD and not have YMA if school is canceled.)
- If you ever have a question of if there are classes or not, please check the following first:
– Online ( www.facebook.com/cpamma or www.instagram.com/centralpamma ) – as a reminder you do not need an account to view.
2. We will not respond to emails, texts, messages or calls asking if there is going to be class.
3. We recommend each child attend at least 1 class per week to test at the end of the semester. With that said, we have compensated for any lost days by having the children come twice a week; one main class and one auxiliary class at no additional cost to you. If your child misses a class due to weather please try and bring them to their additional auxiliary class you may not have brought them to. The main class and auxiliary class are your two chosen days when you sign up.
