“I have world class training and coaching available to me on a daily basis.” said Pone. “I am excited to put all my tools together and display them in the Invicta cage.”
Elise’s coach; Ryan Gruhn believes that with Pone’s striking background, experience on the ground and ability to train with some of the best wrestlers in the world, that she will be a force to be reckoned with in Mixed Martial Arts. “She is known as a striker” Gruhn said, “but has a very diverse ground game and we have Penn State wrestlers who train at CPAMMA year round.” “She gets to train with BJJ Black Belts, Muay Thai Champions and Collegiate Wrestlers all the time.”; said Gruhn.
