Outdoor Classes
Procedures, Attire & Equipment
**Please try and show up at least 15 minutes before your class to leave enough time to check/scan in.**
#1. When you arrive, please line up on the outside of the regular entrance doors with your partner. Please respect the need for social distance and stay six feet apart while in line. You MUST scan in with your partner.
#2. One pair at a time will come into CPAMMA, scan in and pick up equipment (Thai Pads, etc. if needed). Thai Pads and towels for each pair will be in the lounge area. Remember, the towel is to clean equipment, so only take one towel per pair for assigned partner classes.
**No towel is needed for Cardio Conditioning.**
#3. Once you have your equipment you will exit the “other” doors which will allow the next pair of students to come into CPAMMA.
#4. Outside classes will be held in the grass at the end of the parking lot!
#5. Please remember to clean any CPAMMA equipment (before and after each use) with the towels and cleaning solution supplied by CPAMMA and return the towels to the dirty towel bin and the Thai Pads (after they have been cleaned) to the same place you picked them up from. Please leave the spray bottles in the areas where they are stationed.
**We recommend wearing running or five finger shoes to outdoor classes. Remember to bring a water bottle with enough water for the class.**
Outdoor Muay Thai
**Please try and show up at least 15 minutes before your class to leave enough time to check/scan in.**
1 Hour long class with an assigned partner. This is the exact same material, exact same format as our Co-Ed Striking & Women’s Kickboxing classes. The only real difference is that we will be working with assigned partners and respecting social distance expectations set forth by the CDC. The first 1/2 hour will be dedicated to warmup and technique along with learning the combinations used in the workout during the second 1/2 hour. Please remember to clean pads (before and after) and return them to the same place you got them from explained in the procedures above.
Outdoor Cardio Conditioning
**Please try and show up at least 15 minutes before your class to leave enough time to check/scan in.**
Outdoor Cardio Conditioning is an individual workout done in the grass as a group. You will be socially distanced from each person in your group. It is a 60-minute class focused on High Intensity Interval Training. This class is meant for all experience and fitness levels, and offers a range of variant exercises to cater to the student looking to better their overall health, the hobbyist, and the high-level athlete alike.
You still need to check in before each class by scanning in at the front desk.
Outdoor Solo Training Area
The outdoor training area will be open dawn to dusk seven days a week and can have six people at a time. If there are already people using the area when you arrive, please ask how much longer they will be and consider doing a warm-up on your own on the side of CPAMMA along the sidewalk. You do not need to scan in to use the outdoor area but you do need to have a current membership.
